Look under the category "The Younglings" over at Wordpress. Blogger is too unreliable and won't allow me to switch to Beta anyway. So screw 'em.

Holden -- 10 months
Holden is all about getting around. He speed-crawls anywhere he can go. He pulls up on the furniture and on both of us. He likes being able to say "pick me up" by pulling himself up via a pantleg. He likes to be where the action is and gets bored when when contain him in a room, no matter how large it is. He bangs on the windows, which are nice & low so he can see out.
He likes to play with Zoe and vice versa. Their favorite activity together is playing in the caterpillar tunnel. Second to that is the joint bath. Holden rarely gets a bath alone in his little tub but he still loves it, since the water is deeper. He & Zoe like to splash and kick and squeal while pouring water on each other. He also likes to grab her clothes while they're sitting and playing together so he can pull her over. Sometimes she complies; sometimes she says, "No, Ho'den."
He's a very happy, very loving little boy. He laughs and smiles easily and often. He likes to cuddle with anyone and loves to snuggle under a blankie. He likes to go on outings and see people. He doesn't like to be still for long and sometimes fusses against being put back in the car seat.
He still makes his little fussy sound, exactly as he did when he was a newborn. I call it "fussbudgeting." It's not about anything in particular; he just does it. He also has a distinct cry for being angry: Meeeeh! His hungry sound is now "Ma! Maaa!" Like, "Feed me, woman!"
At dinnertime, he's his most fussbudgety. He wants to feed himself almost exlcusively but then he decides "I want jarred food and why aren't you giving it to me NOW?" So he takes a couple of bites and goes back to feeding himself and "Get that damn spoon out of my face." He also isn't content with the puffs or other baby finger food. He wants exactly what's on everyone else's plate. He gestures toward the plates but he's not pointing yet.
He's cut his top two teeth but they aren't down too far yet. The "next to the right side center" tooth is also through the gum.
He weighs just over 20 lbs. He's going into almost all of the Size 12 month clothes, although he can still wear some 6-12 Old Navy stuff and some shirts from Gymboree (which is bizarre since he barely fits into their 12-18 mo PJs). I also got him some Robeez booties for winter. He's stylin'. Although he still only leaves his hats on about 50% of the time.
For Halloween, he is Superman.

Backyardigans "ads"
Okay who else loves the new Backyardigans between-shows "ads" for the individual characters? I've only seen Pablo's & Uniqua's. Pablo's is the soccer monster rock & Uniqua's is the secret agent tango.

I Don't Like Candy Corn
You can watch the video here.
This was the first song Z ever picked up on her own and began singing so I have a special place for it. Also I hate candy corn so it doubles as an October anthem.
